FEMME FRIDAY // Nikki Bostwick

I first met Nikki about five years ago when she was a culinary student. I vividly remember her final project which consisted of two raw vegan gelatos - one pistachio, and the other rose. They were absolutely divine, some of the best I've ever had, and her whole family was there to celebrate her graduation. Happy, vibrant, cozy, and funny - Nikki radiates good vibes and positive energy.

A few years later I was lucky enough to work with her alongside the launch of her online media endeavor Poppy + Seed which has now morphed into the incredibly cool and artfully curated publication The Fullest. To watch how she has taken her vision and continued to push the envelope by investing time and dedication to consistent improvement has been inspiring. The Fullest newsletter is literally the ONE newsletter I open weekly.

I am so happy for her and all that she is doing, including the greatest adventure to come - a new mama to be!

Love you Nikki!

My three word bio

EIC of The Fullest

One thing Internet doesn’t know about you?

Papaya is my favorite food.

The can't live without it daily ritual that keeps you inspired?

Morning walks with my dog. I used to go to the gym and train with a personal trainer or head to the yoga studio on a daily basis - all indoors. I recently switched to longer walks with my dog and I feel so much lighter, leaner and more flexible. It’s also nice to spend more time outdoors and connect with nature. Daily walks and salt baths are definitely my two favorite rituals!

What is in your desert island cosmetic bag, and how do you use it?

My desert island cosmetic bag definitely includes Nucifera and Agent Nateur’s Holi Oil.

And since we are on an island... what's your favorite way to use coconut?

I love coconut yogurt for breakfast!

TOP 3 books everyone needs to read while they are there?

Body Ecology Diet for Nutrition, The Shia Revival: How Conflicts within Islam Will Shape the Future - for understanding why Islam is in the shape it is today, and The Fullest - for a light, fun, informative read.

What impression do you want to leave?

I want to leave everyone with a knowing that they are already enough. It’s wonderful to strive to be a better version of yourself, but always know that you are already perfect the way you are.
